What IS The Sock Knitting Weekend?
It’s a free, 4-day online event where passionate knitters gather to swap tricks, try new techniques, and finally tackle those socks you’ve been meaning to make. Think of it as a creative retreat… minus the travel and shared bathrooms.
So this is actually FREE?
Yup! There are two options for joining us:
1. Watch live through our streaming feeds on YouTube, Facebook, or our watch page (links given after sign up).
2. Register for the event and get access to the 48 hour replay of each session.
Where does the event take place?
Right in your living room. Or kitchen. Or yarn-strewn corner of the guest room. If you’ve got internet and a comfy chair, you’re in.
What time are the sessions, and what time zone are we talking?
All sessions are scheduled in Eastern Time (UTC-4) and typically run between 12 PM and 4 PM each day. We’ll include the schedule in your emails, so you never have to do time zone math before your coffee kicks in.

What if I can’t make it live?
No problem — your free ticket includes 48-hour replays of every session. So whether you’re busy, in a different time zone, or just forgot what day it is (happens to the best of us), you’ll have time to catch up without missing a stitch.
Need more time? You’ll have the chance to upgrade to the All Access Pass for a full year of on-demand sock magic.
OK, but is it actually free? Like… FREE free?
Yes — truly. You can attend all 4 days, learn from our speakers, and watch 48-hour replays with no cost and no credit card required.
But fair warning: after you register, we’re going to send some emails — with some pretty tempting upgrade offers. They’re packed with value (we’re talking patterns, bonuses, VIP access…), but if you’re just here for the free stuff, that’s totally fine. No guilt trips, no hard sells. Just sock knitting and good vibes.
Do I need any special yarn or supplies?
Nope. Bring your favorite sock yarn, needles, and that half-finished project you’ve been meaning to finish. If a session does use something specific, we’ll let you know in advance — and it’s always optional. No last minute shopping panic needed.
Will I get to connect with other knitters?
You will — and not just in a “comment and disappear” kind of way. The live chat during sessions is full of friendly, like-minded knitters sharing encouragement, tips, and the occasional yarn confession. It’s a warm little corner of the internet we think you’ll love.
Can I ask questions during the event?
Yep! Every day includes a live Q&A session with one of our speakers, and it’s a great chance to get advice, hear other knitters’ questions, or just lurk quietly while absorbing brilliant answers. It’s casual, friendly, and no one’s going to call on you unless you raise your (virtual) hand.
Will there be recordings?
Yes! All sessions include 48-hour replays with your free ticket. Want to rewatch, take notes, or knit along later at your own pace? The All Access Pass gives you 12 months of viewing time, plus bonus goodies.
How do I access the sessions?
We’ll email you links and reminders — no complicated logins, no tech drama.
