About This Stitch Pattern
The Blanket Rib Stitch is an interesting rib pattern that uses increases and decreases together to create a textured fabric that is great for washcloths and afghans. It can also be used in sweaters, hats, and scarves as a substitute for other rib stitches. It does not have as much horizontal stretch as traditional ribbing.
