Row 1: (Wrong Side): sc in 2nd ch from hook, ch 2, skip 2ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 1ch, sc in next ch, *ch 4, skip 4ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 1ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across to last 3ch, ch 2, skip 2ch, sc in last ch, turn.
Row 2: ch 1, sc in last 1st st, ch 2, *trefoil in next ch 3 sp, ch 4, skip ch 4 sp; rep from * to last ch 3 sp, trefoil in last ch 3 sp, ch 2, skip ch sp, sc in last sc, turn.
Row 3: ch 6 (counts as tr, ch 2 sp), *skip ch 3 sp, [sc, ch 3, sc] in next ch 5 sp, ch 4, skip next 2 ch sp; rep from * across to last ch 5 sp, [sc, ch 3, sc] in last ch 5 sp, ch 2, skip last ch sps, tr in last sc, turn.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have reached your desired length.
