Foundation Chain:Multiples of 9 + 2

  • Foundation Row: 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in each ch across row, turn.
  • Row 1: ch 4 (counts as tr), skip first dc, tr in next dc, *ch 4, skip 1dc, 1dc in each of next 3dc, ch 4, skip 1dc**, 1tr in each of next 4dc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, 1tr in next dc, 1tr in top of tch, turn.
  • Row 2: ch 1, 1sc in each of first 2tr, *ch 4, 1dc in each of next 3dc, ch 4**, 1sc in each of next 4tr, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, 1sc in next tr, 1sc in top of tch, turn.
  • Row 3: ch 1, 1sc in each of first 2sc, *ch 4, 1dc in each of next 3dc, ch4**, 1sc in each of next 4sc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, 1sc in each last 2sc, turn.
  • Row 4: ch 1, 1sc in each of first 2sc, *ch 4, 1dc in each of next 3dc, ch4**, 1sc in each of next 4sc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, 1sc in each last 2sc, turn.
  • Row 5: ch 4, 1tr in next sc, *ch1, 1dc in each of next 3dc, ch 1**, 1tr in each of next 4sc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, 1tr in last 2sc, turn.
  • Row 6: ch 3, 1dc in next tr, *1dc in next ch 1 space, 1dc in each of next 3dc, 1dc in next ch 1 space**, 1dc in each of next 4tr, rep from * ending last rep at **, 1dc in next tr, 1dc top of tch, turn.
  • Repeat rows 1-6 until you have reached your desired length.
