Hi there! I'm Johnny Vasquez, and since 2011 I've helped tens of thousands of people around the world become Fearless Knitters.
Through over 1,500 video tutorials, 50+ classes, and dozens of pattern designs, I make the complexities of knitting simple. I help you understand knitting better, so you don't have to be afraid of trying an ambitious project or new skill.
I started the Yarnist Society because I wanted more than a subscription to online classes. My goal is to bring people together so you can achieve your biggest knitting dreams and learn to knit without fear!

We have a vested interest in your success (you won’t stick around long if we’re not helping, right?) - and that all starts by making sure the Society is right for you before you join.

However, beginner through intermediate knitters will probably find the most benefit right away.
As a beginner you probably have the most to gain from membership. You’ll not only be able to learn from our trainings, you’ll also learn a lot from the other, more experienced members.
One major difference with the Society is it is just as much a community as it is a learning platform. You can learn a lot just from engaging with other members and sharing your own experience.
We do not currently offer private tutoring, but you can post to get help in our community group 24/7 AND you can submit questions to be answered during LIVE Q&A’s with our knitting experts.
We want you to succeed, and know that if you become a member and really put your heart and soul into it… you will see amazing results!
But we understand that life happens and sometimes you need to take a break or focus on something else.
You can pause your membership if you wish, or downgrade to our standard member level, which grants you access to the community forum and monthly challenges.
If you wish to cancel completely just let us know and we’ll remove access to all classes and the community.
