About This Stitch Pattern
The Two Color Interlocking Block Stitch is a colorwork stitch with a lot of visual impact. Using only chains and double crochet stitches, this stitch forms into a strong vertical stripe pattern. Easy to make, it would work well for bags or cushion covers.

Note: work 1 row in colors A and B alternately throughout.
Foundation Chain: Multiple of 6 sts plus 5
- Prep Row (rs): Sk 3 ch (count as 1 dc), 1 dc into each of the next 2 ch, *3ch, sk 3 ch, 1dc into each of the next 3 ch; rep from * to end, turn.
- Row 1: *3ch, sk 3 sts, 1Sdc over each of the next 3 sts; rep from * to last 3 sts, 2ch, sk 2 sts, sl st into top of tch, turn.
- Row 2: Ch 3 (count as 1 Sdc), sk 1st st, 1 Sdc over each of next 2 sts, * 3ch, sk 3 sts, 1Sdc over each of next 3 sts; rep from * to end, turn.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until desired length.
