About This Stitch Pattern

The lazy links stitch is a knitting pattern that creates an all-over lattice texture. By wrapping rib stitches together a beautiful fabric is made. This is a great pattern for blankets, scarves, and even hats.

P”]Purl Stitch
Cluster 6″]k2, p2, k2 from left hand needle, slip these 6 sts onto a cable needle. Wrap yarn twice counterclockwise round these 6 sts. Slip sts back onto right hand needle.

Row 1 (RS): P2, *k2, p2; rep from * to end
Row 2: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end
Row 3: P2, *cluster 6, p2; rep from * to end
Row 4: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end
Row 5: P2, *k2, p2; rep from * to end
Row 6: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end
Row 7: P2, k2, p2, *cluster 6, p2; rep from * to last 4 sts, k2, p2
Row 8: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end

Repeat these 8 rows until you have reached your desired length.
