3 Color Honeycomb Stitch

About This Stitch Pattern

The 3 Color Honeycomb stitch is a colorwork pattern made of hexagonal stripes which alternate between two colors. These hexagons are bordered by another color, and make the fabric look like honeycomb. This pattern is cleverly created using the mosaic colorwork technique, by only knitting with one color in a row at a time. The design incorporates slipped stitches at strategic points to make the honeycomb pattern. Use the 3 color honeycomb stitch in baby blankets, scarves, or anything with wide fabric.
