About This Stitch Pattern
The clamshell stitch is a knitting pattern that creates a bumpy textured fabric. The result looks like a bunch of clams laying together on the beach. Made using a series of offset bobbles, this all-over stitch pattern is great for blankets, scarves, hats, or pillows.
