Cross Four Right Stitch (C4R)

About This Technique

The Cross Four Right is a traditional cable stitch. All cable stitches are rearranging the order of the stitches being worked, creating a twisted effect on the fabric. The Cross Four Right uses the abbreviation C4R, the 4 standing for the four stitches involved in the completed cable. The R is for Right, indicating the direction of the twist of the finished cable. The cable is accomplished by crossing one stitch over three stitches.
