About This Technique
The Front Loop Double Crochet is a variation on the traditional Double Crochet stitch. The main difference is that instead of inserting your hook underneath the entire stitch, the hook enters the front edge of the stitch, and exits through the center of the stitch, working the double crochet around the front loop. This creates a nice ridged texture on the fabric with relatively little effort.
