The Honeycomb Brioche Stitch is a variation of the brioche stitch that creates a thick fabric that simulates the hexagons of a honeycomb. It can be worked in multiple colors for a different effect and is great for blankets, scarves, sweaters, and bags.

Stitch Pattern Instructions

Cast On: Multiples of 2

- Row 1 (RS): *K1, k1b; rep from * to end.
- Row 2: *K2tog (picking up the top stitch from the k1b and knitting it with the stitch on the main needle), k1; rep from * to end.
- Row 3: *K1b, k1; rep from * to end.
- Row 4: *K1, k2tog (picking up the top stitch from the k1b and knitting it with the stitch on the main needle); rep from * to end.

Repeat rows 1 – 4 until you have reached your desired length.
