- Row 1 (RS):
- *K1, k1b; rep from * to end.
- Row 2:

- Row 3:
- *K1b, k1; rep from * to end.
- Row 4:
- *K1, k2tog (picking up the top stitch from the k1b and knitting it with the stitch on the main needle); rep from * to end.
Repeat rows 1 – 4 until you have reached your desired length.
