The Eyelet Mock Cable Ribbing Stitch is a unique pattern that combines cabling, ribbing, and lace into one beautiful stitch. As this is a mock cable, no stitches are actually crossed. Instead the illusion of cabling is achieved through using a clever decrease. This is a relatively simple stitch to knit but the effect looks more complicated than it is.
Use the eyelet mock cable ribbing stitch in anything that can use ribbed stitches, such as a hat, scarf, or even as a decorative element in a sweater.
