Interrupted Rib Stitch

Example of the Interrupted Rib Knitting Stitch Pattern

About This Stitch Pattern

The Interrupted Rib Stitch is a really simple knit and purl stitch. By alternating these two stitches, a multitude of textures and patterns can be created. This one has a similar look to traditional 1×1 ribbing, but has subtle differences to make it unique. It’s a great choice for blankets, bags, and pillows.
