The Knit Left Loop increase (KLL) is a practically invisible increase is perfect for making symmetrical increases in adjacent stitches. Also known as the raised increase or lifted increase, it is the exact opposite of the knit right loop increase (KRL). Because the increase is created by lifting the stitch below, this technique tends to pull a little, but it’s worth it for the invisible effect.
