About This Stitch Pattern
The Russian stitch is a mosaic colorwork pattern. It creates a fabric of zig zagging columns of contrasting color. Using only one color at a time and slipped stitches, this bold graphic design is easy to make. A great way for beginner colorwork knitters to experiment. This geometric pattern will look amazing in large projects like scarves, blankets, and pillows.
