About This Stitch Pattern
The Basket Rib Stitch is a rib stitch similar to a 1×1 rib, that creates a grid or waffle like pattern. It is great as an alternative to a regular 1×1 rib, but it does not have as much horizontal stretch. Perfect for beginners, the basket rib stitch is a good pattern for hats and scarves, but can also be used on larger pieces of fabric like blankets and sweaters.
