About This Stitch Pattern
The knotted boxes is a heavily textured knitting fabric. It creates the illusion of smooth vertical stripes woven with bumpy horizontal rows. To some it may look like small offset knots, making a pattern of checkered boxes. Either way, this all-over pattern works great on large pieces of fabric, where it can really shine.
