Deep Waffle Stitch
About This Stitch Pattern
The deep waffle stitch uses mock cables to create lattice pattern with heavy texture. The resulting fabric has a diagonal waffle look with deep recesses. This all-over pattern is great for bulky scarves, blankets, or even hats.

- Row 3: P1, *k2tog, (yo) twice, ssk; rep from *, end p1.
- Row 4: P2, *(k1, p1) into the double yo of previous row, p2; rep from * to end.
- Row 5: K2, *p2, LT; rep from *, end p2, k2.
- Row 6: P2, *k2, p2; rep from * to end.
- Row 7: P1, yo, *ssk, k2tog, (yo) twice; rep from *, end ssk, k2tog, yo, p1.
- Row 8: K2, *p2, (k1, p1) into the double yo of previous row; rep from *, end p2, k2.
Repeat rows 1-8 until you have reached your desired length.
