About This Stitch Pattern
Bold in its graphic design but simple in its construction, this textured stitch uses knits and purls to create geometric patterns. If garter and ribbing are making your stitches fall off your needles because you’re falling asleep out of boredom, this might be the stitch pattern for you. This is a fantastic design to make a baby blanket out of, and knitting with a bulkier yarn will accentuate the pattern texture.

- K7, p5, *k9, p5; rep from * to last 7 sts, k7.
- Row 4:
- P6, k7, *p7, k7; rep from * to last 6 sts, p6.
- Row 5:
- K5, *p9, k5; rep from * to end.
- Row 6:
- P6, k7, *p7, k7; rep from * to last 6 sts, p6.
- Row 7:
- K7, p5, *k9, p5; rep from * to last 7 sts, k7.
